Plan and Billing

In this article, you will learn how to change your plan with Payrexx, how to update your billing address, and how to download your previous invoices and contract.

To do this, log in to your Payrexx account and navigate to Settings > Plan and Billing in the main menu.

The page is divided into the following sections: Plan, Billing Address, and Billing.

Plan

In this section, you can view and change your current plan, as well as download your contract with Payrexx.

Payrexx plans are billed annually. Monthly billing and installment payments are not available.

Changing the plan

Next to "Current plan," you will see which Payrexx plan you are currently using. In the following example, it is the "Starter" plan. By clicking on the "Change plan" button, you can switch to a different plan:

A window will open where you can select a new plan:

At Payrexx, you can choose between the Checkout, Starter, and Pro plans. Information on what each plan includes and their costs can be found in the "Overview of Payrexx Plans" section and on our website:

Upgrading a plan

Upgrading a plan is always possible. An upgrade refers to switching to a more expensive option with additional features and lower transaction fees.

Examples of upgrades:

  • Switching from the Trial Plan (30 days) to the Starter Plan (1 year)

  • Switching from the Checkout Plan (1 year) to the Pro Plan (1 year)

When upgrading, the amount already paid for the previous plan is deducted from the new plan.

Upgrading a plan always results in more attractive transaction fees.

Downgrading a plan

Downgrading a plan is only possible after the current plan has expired. A downgrade refers to switching to a less expensive option with fewer features and higher transaction fees.

Examples of downgrades:

  • Switching from the Pro Plan (1 year) to the Starter Plan (1 year)

  • Switching from the Starter Plan (1 year) to the Checkout Plan (1 year)

Canceling a plan

If you wish to cancel your plan with Payrexx, you can do so by clicking "End subscription":

  • Available payment providers and payment methods

  • Payout accounts and fees

  • Transaction fees

In this section, you can see the account holder's address registered in Payrexx. By default, Payrexx sends its invoices to this address.

If you wish to provide a different billing address, you can do so by activating the corresponding switch:

Overview of Payrexx Plans

In the following section, you will find useful information about the various Payrexx plans.

Trial Plan

When you create a new Payrexx account, the Trial Plan is automatically activated. This is a free, 30-day trial that allows you to explore Payrexx’s features and test the tool extensively. With the Trial Plan, you can already process payments.

If you need more time to test Payrexx, please contact us via a support ticket. We will be happy to extend the Trial Plan for an additional 30 days.

The Trial Plan is not automatically extended. If you wish to continue using Payrexx after the 30-day trial period, please choose one of the three plans: Checkout, Starter, or Pro.

Expired Plan

If you do not select a plan, the Trial Plan will automatically be converted to the Expired Plan. You can still log in to your account, but receiving payments will no longer be possible.

The "Trial" and "Expired" plans cannot be selected by you. They are automatically assigned by the system.

As a merchant, you can choose from the following three plans:

Checkout Plan

The Checkout Plan is ideal for newcomers and new companies. It is the most affordable plan but offers the fewest features. Transaction fees are higher compared to the other two plans.

Starter Plan

The Starter Plan is ideal for individuals and small comppanies. It provides more features and lower transaction fees than the Checkout Plan.

Pro Plan

The Pro Plan is ideal for medium-sized to large companies. This plan offers the most attractive transaction fees and the full range of features.

A comprehensive overview of all three plans can be found on our website:
