The online payment system iDEAL allows customers to shop online and make payments directly from their bank accounts. Transactions are processed in real-time, with both the customer and the merchant receiving an immediate payment confirmation.
In the Netherlands, iDEAL is one of the most popular payment methods. It is also used for international payments, making it an attractive payment option for merchants across Europe.

Setup
To receive payments via iDEAL, you simply need to activate the payment method in your Payrexx account. Follow these steps:
Navigate to Payment Providers in the main menu of your merchant administration.
Click on "Setup" or "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay Plus:
Scroll down a bit and check the box next to "iDEAL":
Complete the configuration by clicking "Save" at the bottom right of the page.
The payment method is activated. Your customers can now pay with iDEAL.
Payment with iDEAL From The Customer's Perspective
In this section, you will learn how a payment with iDEAL works.
The customer fills in the required fields and selects the payment method "iDEAL":
The customer provides their email address and the name associated with their bank account, then clicks the green "Pay" button:
Payrexx redirects the customer to the iDEAL website. The customer has two options there:
Scan the displayed QR code using their bank's app and complete the payment
Select their bank, log in, and pay through online banking
