The payment system eps (Electronic Payment Standard) is one of the most popular payment methods in Austria, but it is also accepted by merchants in Germany and Switzerland.
Customers make payments directly through their bank accounts and in real-time.

Setup
To receive payments via eps, you simply need to activate the payment method in your Payrexx account. Follow these steps:
Navigate to Payment Providers in the main menu of your merchant administration.
Click on "Setup" or "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay Plus:
Scroll down a bit and check the box next to "eps":
Complete the configuration by clicking "Save" at the bottom right of the page.
The payment method is activated. Your customers can now pay with eps.
Payment From The Customer's Perspective
In this section, you will learn how a payment with eps works.
The customer fills in the required fields and selects the payment method "eps":
The customer provides their email address and the name associated with their bank account and clicks the green "Pay" button:
Payrexx redirects the customer to the eps website (in German):
From the list of available banks, the customer selects their bank:
5. The customer clicks on "Fortsetzen" which means "Continue":
6. The customer is redirected from eps to their bank, where they can log in and complete the payment.
