Activation and Configuration

To start receiving payments, you need to activate Payrexx Pay or Payrexx Pay Plus in the Payrexx backend. In this article, you learn how it works.

Payrexx Pay

After successfully verifying your account, you can easily activate Payrexx Pay in the Payrexx backend by navigating to Payment providers > Payrexx Pay > Activate:

In the next step, you can proceed with the configuration of Payrexx Pay.

Test and live mode

At the top of the window, you can select whether to operate Payrexx Pay in test or live mode. In live mode, customers can perform real transactions. The test mode is ideal for testing the Payrexx account and various settings.

In the next section, you can view and modify your current plan by clicking on "Merchant Contract" (1), download your contract with Payrexx, and review past invoices.

Currencies and payment methods

In the lower section of the window, you can configure the following settings:

1. Selection of the payment methods available to customers

The order of the payment methods can be adjusted freely using drag & drop.

1. Settings for the payment method "Purchase on Invoice"

2. Selection of active currencies

3. Definition of the text that will appear on the customer's credit card statement

4. Settings for the payout bank account(s)

After selecting the appropriate option, it may take a few business days for the chosen payment method to become active. Payrexx will notify you by email once it is ready.

Additional Information

• If you have activated payment methods within Payrexx Pay or Payrexx Pay Plus that were previously activated as external payment providers, you can now deactivate them at the external payment providers.

• If you are using Payrexx tools, activate Payrexx Pay and/or Payrexx Pay Plus in the settings of the respective tool.

• An overview of your transaction fees can be found in the configuration settings of Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus.
