# Release 2025.02

New features, enhancements and updates that Payrexx has implemented in the 4 February 2025 release.

In this release, new individual customisation options and optimised functions have been implemented in Payrexx, which we present to you in this article.

## Optimizations

### Payrexx Pay & Payrexx Pay Plus: Payment methods are now sortable

Merchants can now sort the payment methods in Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus as they wish. This makes it possible to determine the order in which the payment methods should be displayed on the payment page. For example, if a merchant knows that their customers prefer to pay with [TWINT](/merchant/english/payment-provider/payrexx-pay/payment-methods/twint.md), this payment method can be displayed at the very front.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1455115231-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MYJhU4qriZCz_Wxs0T0-887967055%2Fuploads%2FDi1F0LLHracwcNd7Ezd2%2FZahlungsmittel%20Reihenfolge%20PPP%20EN.png?alt=media&amp;token=68b2e9f9-490c-44d5-baf5-2b40d210f8b2" alt=""><figcaption><p>View of the payment methods in Payrexx Pay Plus</p></figcaption></figure></div>

You can change the order of the payment methods under **Payment provider > Configure Payrexx Pay / Payrexx Pay Plus > Payment methods**.

You can find all further information on the payment providers Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus in the following article:

### Payment method on the payment page as a list view or block view

Merchants can now also customize the display of payment methods on the payment page. There are two view options: a list view and a block view. This allows you to display the payment methods in a way that best suits your site.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1455115231-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MYJhU4qriZCz_Wxs0T0-887967055%2Fuploads%2FxzeRmoghTZUm3o2Fqm7L%2FDesign%20ohne%20Titel%20(59).png?alt=media&amp;token=e3eb2152-e592-4807-b68b-6455038f4c89" alt=""><figcaption><p>Block view (left) and list view (right) of the payment methods</p></figcaption></figure></div>

The adjustments can be easily made in the Payrexx Administration under **Settings > Look & Feel > Terminal/Gateway**.

Merchants can make many more individual design customisations in the Look & Feel settings. You can find out everything that is possible in the following article:

### New merchant API interface for invoice management

With the new API interface for invoices, merchants can [create](https://developers.payrexx.com/reference/create-an-invoice), [retrieve](https://developers.payrexx.com/reference/retrieve-an-invoice), [edit](https://developers.payrexx.com/reference/update-an-invoice) and [delete](https://developers.payrexx.com/reference/delete-an-invoice) invoices directly via the API or [have all invoices listed](https://developers.payrexx.com/reference/list-all-invoices).

This enables seamless integration of invoice processes into their own software solution without merchants having to rely on the Payrexx interface.

### Simplified subscription management for customers

Customers who have an active subscription with a merchant can now change the payment method directly via a new "Change payment method" button (e.g. when cards expire or payment preferences change, without having to contact the merchant).

This simplifies subscription management and allows merchants to avoid having to worry about such changes, saving time and reducing sources of error.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.payrexx.com/merchant/english/release-notes/release-notes-2025/release-2025.02.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
