Payouts to your bank account are processed in accordance with Stripe's guidelines.
It is crucial to provide accurate payout details and select the correct business type when registering with Stripe:
Sole proprietors are considered natural persons: As a result, payouts are always issued in the name of the designated Company Representative registered with Stripe. The linked bank account must therefore be in this person's name — not the company name.
Legal entities such as GmbH or AG are considered legal persons: In this case, payouts are issued in the registered company name. The associated bank account must be under the company’s name — not under an individual’s name.
After a customer successfully completes a purchase, the payment is reviewed by Stripe, the credit card acquirer. During this process, security checks are performed. This typically takes at least seven days.
Once the review is complete, the funds are credited to your Stripe account and then transferred to your bank account. You can define the payout frequency and schedule in your Stripe account settings:
Amounts greater than CHF/EUR 25.00 are transferred to your bank account within a few days. Amounts below CHF/EUR 25.00 will only be paid out once your total Stripe balance reaches that threshold. This may only occur after multiple transactions, depending on your sales volume.
Funds are transferred from your Stripe account to the bank account you have registered with Stripe.
