# WIRpay

## General Information

WIRpay is a cashless payment system from the Swiss Bank WIR, specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. It facilitates payments in Swiss Francs and in WIR (CHW).

### Payment types

The following features are available in the Payrexx merchant administration panel:

* ✅ One-time payment
* ❌ Refund
* ❌ Partial refund
* ❌ Recurring payments (Subscription)
* ❌ Tokenization
* ❌ Pre-authorization

## Country Availability

WIRpay is exclusively available to merchants in :flag\_ch: Switzerland.

## Setup

Please follow the instructions below to integrate WIRpay as an external payment provider in Payrexx.

### Configuration of Payrexx

Make sure you're [logged in](https://login.payrexx.com/) to your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don’t have a Payrexx account yet, you can [register](https://signup.payrexx.com/) now.

* Navigate to the **Payment providers** section in the merchant administration of your Payrexx account.
* Click "Show" under "Alternative payment methods":

* Scroll down and click "Setup" next to "WIRpay":

* In the new window, click "Yes, I want an offer":

Finally, complete the following form and submit it by clicking the green button "Request offer now":

* Once you have received the quote from WIRpay, open the configuration settings again under **Payment providers > Alternative payment pethods > WIRpay** and complete the following fields:

1. the customer number provided by WIRpay
2. the acceptance rate of CHW in percentage provided by WIRpay
3. the CHW cap (default is 5,000, which can be increased if needed by clicking the checkbox)

In the end, click "Save" to complete the configuration.
