Tokenization refers to the storage of a credit card for future payments. The credit card data is saved as a token for both the customer and the merchant.
The following article shows you how to create tokenizations in Payrexx:
To view the created tokenizations, navigate to Payments > Tokenizations in the main menu of your merchant administration:
The status "Uncharged" means that a tokenization has taken place, but the amount has not yet been charged.
The status "Charged" means that the amount has been collected, and the card can be charged recurrently in the future.

To charge a tokenization on the customer's card, click on the corresponding row to open the detailed view of the tokenization:
Afterwards, you can proceed with the charge:
Amount/Charged: the amount (EUR 80.00) and information on how much has already been charged (EUR 0.00)
Date: the date the tokenization was created
Create Charge: the button to charge the amount
Click on the "Create Charge" button, which will open the following window:
Amount: Specify the amount.
Number: Specify how many times the charge should be made.
Charge custom amount: Specify a custom amount, which can be less than the displayed amount but not greater.
To proceed with the charge, click the green "Charge" button.
The tokenization has been successfully charged.
You can delete a tokenization by clicking the corresponding button in the detailed view:
If you have set up a webhook in your Payrexx account, you can send tokenizations to the webhook URL recorded under API and Plugins.
To do this, open the detailed view of the desired tokenization and click on "Trigger webhook":
To export the list of created tokenizations to a CSV file, click the "Export" button at the top of the page:
