# Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus

Payrexx offers merchants in Europe two proprietary payment services: Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus.

## What is a Payment Provider

A payment provider, also known as a Payment Service Provider (PSP), provides the technical and legal infrastructure that enables merchants to receive and process electronic payments.

The payment provider serves as the interface between you as a merchant, your customers, and the different payment methods.

## Payrexx Payment Providers

Payrexx offers merchants in Europe two in-house payment providers: Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus.

Both solutions offer the advantage that, as a merchant, you only need a single contract to activate multiple payment methods and immediately start receiving payments from your customers.

If desired, Swiss merchants can use both payment providers simultaneously. However, ensure that each payment method is activated in only one of the two providers.
