At the beginning of 2024, we introduced exciting new features and optimizations in Payrexx, which we present to you in this article.

New Features

With the January release, there is now an annual account statement for Payrexx Pay Plus and Payrexx Pay.

The account statement for the year 2023 for the payment providers Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus will be available in the merchant backend from February 1.

From now on, merchants will receive the account statements annually and can download them in the Payrexx backend.

Optimizations

Among other things, more information on payment methods and transactions will be added to the merchant dashboard.

Submitting evidence of disputes directly in the merchant backend

Merchants can now submit evidence for any type of dispute directly in the merchant backend to simplify the process. Merchants are also informed directly in the backend that evidence can be submitted.

Labeling of payment methods in test mode with "Test" label

Payment methods that are in test mode are now marked with a "Test" label in the merchant backend. As a merchant, you can therefore clearly see which payments have been made in test mode.

These labels are visible in the terminal, on the payment pages, in the transaction e-mails and in the transaction overview.

Reason for failed payments

For unconfirmed or canceled transactions, the possible reason is now displayed in the merchant backend so that merchants can better understand the status of the failed payment.

This information is based on the information available to us, such as a message like "insufficient funds on this credit card".

New form field "Date of birth" in the Paylink tool

In the Paylink tool, you can now add an additional field "Date of birth" to ask the age of customers. This field can also be defined as a mandatory field. You simply select the form fields when creating a paylink.
