The main features of QR Pay are:

  • The QR code can be scanned using the TWINT app and any standard smartphone camera.

  • Multiple payment methods per QR code: , , , credit cards, and any other payment methods you can activate in your Payrexx account.

  • Stickers and table displays can be ordered directly from your Payrexx account.

Creating a QR Code

Log in to your Payrexx account and select QR Pay from the main navigation. Then click on the "Create" button.

QR code settings

When creating a QR code, the following settings can be configured:

  1. Title: This will be displayed as text in the payment confirmation and on the stickers and table displays.

  2. Amount type: An open amount is useful if you want to collect different amounts. A fixed amount or a minimum amount is practical if you want to accept payments for a specific product. You can create a different QR code for each product. This setting cannot be changed later.

  3. Currency and amount: The currency for all QR code payments. This setting cannot be changed later.

  4. Form fields: The activated form fields must be filled in by the customer during the payment process. In the "Purpose" field, customers can enter a custom payment reference.

  5. Notification when payment is received: Additional email addresses that will be notified upon a payment receipt for the selected QR code. You can configure notification settings for all payment receipts in your Payrexx account under Settings > Notifications.

  6. Look & Feel: Customize the appearance of the payment page and the payment confirmation.

Download QR code

You can download each QR code as a PNG or SVG file. Additionally, you can download an A5 poster for self-printing.

Order Stickers and Table Displays

You can order stickers and table displays for each of your QR codes. To do this, open the details page of your QR code by clicking on the desired QR code in the QR Pay overview.

Then click on the "Order advertising material" button to access the order form. Here you can choose whether you want to order just the stickers or also the table display. Check your delivery address and confirm the order.

With each order, you will receive:

  • 1 sticker sheet with 3 QR code stickers (6 x 10,5 cm) and 3 explanatory stickers

  • optional 2 foldable table displays (14,6 x 19 cm)

The first order is free (you will receive each subsequent order at cost price). Your order will be delivered by post within 3–9 working days.

Tips and tricks for stickers

  • Choose a highly visible position for the stickers.

  • The stickers are weatherproof, but exposure to rain and sun will cause them to age faster. Therefore, it's best to select a somewhat sheltered location to extend the lifespan of the stickers.

  • Clean the surface before applying the stickers.

  • Gently press the edges and corners to ensure the stickers stay in place later on.

  • Place the explanatory sticker right next to the QR code sticker. Especially new customers may not yet know how to scan the QR code.

Monitoring Payments

For each payment received, a payment confirmation email is sent. Recipients can be set under Settings > Notifications > Payment Confirmation. By default, both the paying customer and the account holder are notified. Additionally, you can add more email addresses per QR code in your QR code settings.

If you want to check on-site whether a customer has made a payment, you can ask the customer to show you the payment confirmation page on their mobile phone.

Payouts
