boncard / Lunch-Check

This article explains how to integrate boncard as an external payment provider in Payrexx to receive payments.

General Information

Lunch-Check by boncard is a Swiss payment system that has been providing tax-advantaged meal vouchers to employees for more than 60 years. These vouchers can be redeemed at around 8,000 food service establishments in Switzerland.

Country Availability

Lunch-Check by boncard is available exclusively to merchants in 🇨🇭 Switzerland.

Setup

Please follow the instructions below to integrate Lunch-Check by boncard as an external payment provider in Payrexx.

Requesting Lunch-Check by boncard

• Navigate to the Payment providers section in the merchant administration of your Payrexx account.

• Scroll down to the "Add new payment providers" section and click on "Show" under "Alternative payment methods."

• Search for "boncard" and click on the green button to set up the payment provider:

• In the window that opens, click on the button "Yes, I want an offer":

• Fill out all fields in the following form and click on "Request offer now":

After submitting your information, you will receive a merchant name, a merchant ID, and a terminal ID from boncard within a few days.

Configuration of Payrexx

Make sure you're logged in to your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don’t have a Payrexx account yet, you can register now.

• Navigate to the Payment providers section in the main menu of your Payrexx account.

• Scroll down to the "Add new payment providers" section and click on "Show" under "Alternative payment methods."

• Search for "boncard" and click on the "Configure" button:

• Fill out the fields in the form as follows:

1. Switch to "live mode" to start accepting payments with Lunch-Check.

2. Ensure that the payment method "boncard" is activated.

3. Copy the merchant name you received from boncard into the corresponding field.

4. Copy the merchant ID you received from boncard into the corresponding field.

5. Copy the terminal ID you received from boncard into the corresponding field.

6. If you wish, you can provide an alternative name that will be shown to customers instead of boncard.

7. Optionally, you can upload your company logo to display it to customers.

Don't forget to save your settings by clicking on the green "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

The setup of boncard (Lunch-Check) in Payrexx is now complete.
