Activate the installed plugin:
Configuration - WooCommerce
General Settings
Find the plugin configurations in Woocommerce > Settings > Payrexx and make sure to submit the required configs.
Required
Platform: Choose the payment platform you work with
Instance: Submit your merchant account name
API Key: Paste the API Key which you generated in Configuration - Payrexx
Optional
Look&Feel Profile ID: Submit a profile ID to use a design in checkout other than the standard Look&Feel
Prefix: Only necessary for non Payrexx merchants with multiple shops to map payments to the shops
Additional settings do not necessarily have to be filled out.
If you have created several Look&Feel profiles in the Payrexx administration, you will find the Look&Feel profile ID under Settings > Look&Feel.
The prefix setting is only relevant for Payrexx Platforms customers if several shops are connected to one merchant account. With each shop plugin, an order ID is sent to Payrexx as a reference. The reference can contain a prefix so that Payrexx knows to which shops a webhook has to be sent.
Payment Methods
In WooCommerce > Settings > Payments all available payment methods are ready for activation.
Title and description can be defined for each payment method. Also the availability for recurring charges can be controlled for those means of payment methods which support this.
Subscriptions with WooCommerce
The WooCommerce Payrexx plugin is able to process subscriptions in combination with the WooCommerce Subscription plugin.
Once WooCommerce Subscription is installed, you can choose to activate or deactivate payment methods for recurring payments. This can be done in the configurations for each payment method.
Charges
Find all differences between Manual and Automatic renewals in the WooCommerce Subscription documentation.
Automatic Renewals
Payment methods are automatically charged once a new subscription payment is due. This subscription type is only support by certain payment methods.
Manual Renewals
In subscriptions with manual renewal, an email with a payment link is sent to the buyers on every charge day. Manual renewals are support by all Payrexx payment methods.
If you don't want to allow manual subscriptions, you can disable it in the Subscription Plugin settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Subscriptions.
Refunds
A refund that was triggered in the WooCommerce backend will not be transmitted to Payrexx and therefore not executed.
If you want to return the total or partial amount back to your customer, you need to trigger a refund from inside your Payrexx instance.
If a refund is triggered from your Payrexx instance, this will automatically be communicated to your WooCommerce installation and the order will be marked for you.
