In this article, you will learn how to integrate the VIVEUM payment solution as an external payment provider in Payrexx to accept payments.

VIVEUM is an international payment service provider based in Austria that enables merchants to integrate various payment methods, such as credit cards or e-wallets, into their online shop.

Setup

Please follow the instructions below to integrate VIVEUM as an external payment provider in Payrexx.

Configuration of VIVEUM

  • If you do not yet have an e-payment account with VIVEUM, please apply for one.

  • Once the account has been created, VIVEUM will send you an email containing your connection details. You will need these in the next step.

Configuration of Payrexx

Make sure you're logged in to your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don’t have a Payrexx account yet, you can register now.

  • Navigate to "Payment Providers" in the main menu of your Payrexx account.

  • Click on "Show" under "Credit cards and debit cards".

  • Click on "Setup" next to VIVEUM (E-Commerce):

  • If you do not yet have an account with VIVEUM, you can create one in the next step. Otherwise, please select "No, not now":

  • You will be redirected to the VIVEUM configuration page, where you can make the following settings:

  1. Mode: Select "Test" to be able to test the integration.

  2. Payment methods: Add additional payment methods as desired by clicking the button. The selected payment methods will then appear, and you can activate them by checking the box.

  3. Currencies: Define the currencies in which customers can pay you.

  4. Edit fees: Enter the respective fee for each currency as specified in your contract with VIVEUM.

  5. Production account settings: Leave these fields empty for now.

  6. Test account settings: Enter the Entity ID and Access Token from VIVEUM.

Don't forget to click the green save button at the bottom of the page to complete the configuration.

Switching to production mode

Once the setup of your live account with VIVEUM is complete, you can change the mode to "Live", remove the Entity ID and Access Token from "Test Account Settings", and enter the Entity ID and Access Token provided by VIVEUM for the live account under "Live Account Settings".
