CembraPay

In this article, you will learn how to integrate CembraPay as an external payment provider in Payrexx, enabling you to offer your customers invoice-based purchases and installment payments.

General Information

Purchase on Account with CembraPay is a proven and trusted payment method in Switzerland. With CembraPay’s invoice solution, your customers can receive and inspect their orders before paying – either immediately or in up to three installments within 90 days. All this is offered with no interest or additional fees.

This not only increases your average order value and conversion rate, but also builds trust in your business – without exposing you to payment default risk.

CembraPay was formed through the merger of Swissbilling and Byjuno, and is part of Cembra Money Bank, which has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since 2013.

Country Availability

CembraPay is exclusively available to merchants based in 🇨🇭 Switzerland and 🇱🇮 Liechtenstein.

Unsupported business models

Merchants operating in any of the following industries are not eligible to use CembraPay:

• Drugs (tobacco, CBD, and snus are permitted)

• Weapons and ammunition

• Gambling and betting

• Pornography

Setup

Follow these steps to integrate CembraPay into Payrexx:

Configuration of Payrexx

Please note that you need to be logged into your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don't have an account yet, please register with Payrexx.

• In the main menu of your Payrexx account, navigate to Payment Providers.

• Under "Alternative payment methods", click "Show".

• Next to CembraPay, click "Setup":

• If you are already a customer of CembraPay, click "No, not now" in the next window and continue with the CembraPay configuration. If you are not yet a customer, click "Yes, I would like an offer" and proceed to request a contract proposal:

• Fill in all required fields and click the green button "Request offer now".

• CembraPay will contact you regarding the next steps.

Configuration of CembraPay

• Make the following configurations for CembraPay:

1. Mode: Select whether you want to operate CembraPay in live or test mode.

2. Productive Account Settings: Enter the client ID and client secret for production mode if you wish to use CembraPay live.

3. Test Account Settings: Enter the client ID and client secret for test mode if you wish to use CembraPay in test mode.

Click the green "Save" button to complete the configuration.

CembraPay is now successfully integrated into Payrexx.
