Activation and Configuration
To start receiving payments, you need to activate Payrexx Swiss Collecting or Payrexx Direct in the Payrexx backend. In this article, you learn how it works.
Payrexx Swiss Collecting
After successfully verifying your account, you can easily activate Payrexx Swiss Collecting in the Payrexx backend by navigating to Payment Providers > Payrexx Swiss Collecting > Activate.
In the next step, you can proceed with the configuration of Payrexx Swiss Collecting.
Test and live mode
At the top of the window, you can select whether to operate Payrexx Swiss Collecting in test or live mode. In live mode, customers can perform real transactions. The test mode is ideal for testing the Payrexx account and various settings.
Below, you can see whether payments and payouts are activated or not.
Fees and contract terms
In the next section, you can view and modify your current plan by clicking on "Merchant Contract" (1), download your contract with Payrexx, and review past invoices.
Below this, you will find an overview of the transaction fees for the different payment methods available through Payrexx Swiss Collecting (2).
Currencies and payment methods
In the lower section of the window, you can configure the following settings:
Selection of the payment methods available to customers
Selection of active currencies
Definition of the text that will appear on the customer's credit card statement"
After selecting the appropriate option, it may take a few business days for the chosen payment method to become active. Payrexx will notify you by email once it is ready.
Payrexx Direct
After successfully verifying your account, Payrexx Direct is automatically activated and visible under Payment Providers > Payrexx Direct.
Click on "Configure" to adjust the settings for Payrexx Direct:

Additional Information
If you have activated payment methods within Payrexx Swiss Collecting or Payrexx Direct that were previously activated as external payment providers, you can now deactivate them at the external payment providers.
If you are using Payrexx tools, activate Payrexx Swiss Collecting and/or Payrexx Direct in the settings of the respective tool.
