Setup

Please follow the steps in this guide to integrate Payrexx into MyCommerce.

Configuration of Payrexx

Please note that you need to be logged into your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don't have an account yet, please register with Payrexx.

• Navigate to API & Plugins in your account.

• Under "Add e-commerce integration", search for MyCommerce.

• Click "Add" next to MyCommerce:

• A new window will open displaying the API key and instance name. You will need this information in a later step within MyCommerce:

Configuration of MyCommerce

• Log in to your MyCommerce account and navigate to Apps in the main menu.

• Search for the Payrexx plugin and install it. If the plugin is already installed, you can find it under Apps > My Apps.

• In the plugin configuration, apply the following settings:

1. Paste the instance name you copied from Payrexx into the "Payrexx account name" field.

2. Paste the API Key you copied from Payrexx into the "API Key" field.

3. Click "Save" to complete the plugin configuration.

Defining the name displayed at checkout

• Navigate to Payment in the main menu.

• Click on "Actions" next to Payrexx and select "Edit".

• Scroll down to the "Appearance options" section.

• Define the name that should be shown to customers during the checkout process for the payment methods integrated via Payrexx:

Make sure to choose a clear and appropriate name to display at checkout — for example, "Payrexx" or "Credit Card, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay by Payrexx".

• In this section, you can optionally define an additional fee per order:

Payment surcharges may be legally prohibited or restricted depending on the country. Please ensure you carefully review the applicable legal regulations.

Testing the Integration

• We recommend verifying the correct integration of Payrexx with MyCommerce by performing a test payment.
• Once the test is successful, the live mode can be activated.
