Testing

Test the Payrexx environment before accepting live payments.

You can test all credit card transactions by switching the respective payment provider to test mode.

During the payment process, you will see «The payment service provider is in test mode». This means that one or more payment providers are in test mode, but some may also be in live mode.

If you want to test while also productive payments should work, please create a second Payrexx account which will only be used for testing.

Preparation

Before you start testing, you need a Payrexx account and start a payment provider setup.

• Signup for a Payrexx Account (The trial plan is perfect enough for testing purposes)

• Setup Payrexx Direct or any other External Payment Provider

• Switch your Payment Provider to test/sandbox mode. Do so in your Payrexx Account under Payment Provider > Configure

Please note that there is currently no test mode for Payrexx Swiss Collecting. We, therefore, recommend that you test the payment methods with live payments and small amounts.

Credit cards for testing

All Payrexx Tools can be used for testing purposes. The easiest way is to use the tool Terminal, but we recommend testing as similar as possible to your desired use case.

To make the test payment, use the following test credit cards.
