In this article, you will learn how to integrate Ideal Payment as an external payment provider in Payrexx, enabling your customers to pay by invoice.

Ideal Payment AG is a Swiss company that offers merchants the payment method "purchase on invoice" with integrated accounts receivable management.

Installment payments

Installment payments are possible with Ideal Payment as the end customer can pay only a part of the amount due. The dunning process continues until the full amount is settled.

Merchants can adjust the dunning deadlines via the Ideal Payment customer portal to grant customers more time for payment.

Country Availability

The "purchase on invoice" payment method from Ideal Payment is only available to merchants in 🇨🇭 Switzerland.

Setup

Please make sure you log in to Payrexx before you start.

Configuration of Payrexx

Request an offer

Navigate to Payment providers in your Payrexx account and click "Show" under alternative payment methods:

Then click "Setup" next to Ideal Payment:

Choose the option "Yes, I want an offer":

Finally, fill out the form and click "Request offer now" at the bottom right:

Configuring Ideal Payment

Log in to your Payrexx account and navigate to Payment providers. Then click "Configure" next to Ideal Payment, which will open a window with the following configuration options:

If you want to test Ideal Payment, select the "Test" option in the mode settings. You can find more information on this topic in the support article about testing. If you want to use Ideal Payment for live transactions and offer it as a payment method to your customers, choose the "Live" mode.
Ideal Payment incurs transaction fees, which consist of a percentage fee and a fixed fee. Enter the fees specified in your contract with Ideal Payment here:
