Setup

The following instructions will help you integrate Skrill into Payrexx.

Configuration of Skrill

To use Skrill within Payrexx, you must first create a business account with Skrill. If you already have one, you just need to log in.

Make sure you log in to Payrexx before you start.

Configuration of Payrexx

  1. Navigate to Payment providers in the main menu of your Payrexx account.

  2. Click on "Show" under "Credit cards and debit cards."

  3. Click on "Setup" next to "Skrill":

  1. In the next step, select "Yes" if you do not have a Skrill account yet, or "No, not now" if you already have an account:

Once your Skrill account is confirmed, you can proceed with the configuration:

  1. By clicking on "Add/remove payment methods," you can add additional payment methods.

  2. You can either activate or deactivate the added payment methods. An active payment method means your customers can use it to make payments.

  3. Specify the currencies in which your customers can pay.

  4. Enter the fees that apply to you according to your contract with Skrill.

  5. For each currency, copy the values "Merchant email," "API/MQI Key," and "Secret Word/Signature" into the corresponding field. You can find out where to locate these values below.

Here’s how to find the values for "Merchant email," "API/MQI Key," and "Secret Word/Signature":

Merchant email

The merchant email is the email address associated with your Skrill business account.

API/MQI Key

Navigate to Settings > Developer Settings in your Skrill account and enter a password under "Change MQI/API password." The password must consist of only lowercase letters and numbers.

Secret Word/Signature

Under "Create secret word," create a password that also consists only of lowercase letters and numbers. This password must be different from the one used for the "API/MQI Key."

Once you have entered the values for "Merchant email," "API/MQI Key," and "Secret Word/Signature" in Payrexx, the setup is successfully completed.
