2-Factor Authentication

Enhanced security with 2-factor authentication when accessing your account
As a payment service provider, Payrexx is subject to the international Money Laundering Act, which is constantly being tightened. In addition, we strive to meet the highest security standards to ensure the safety of your payments and sensitive data.


2-factor authentication is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your account. It requires two different types of identity proof to access the account, usually a combination of something you know (e.g. a password) and something you own (e.g. a smartphone). By enabling 2-factor authentication, your account will be protected from unauthorized access and you will increase the security of your sensitive data.


Activation takes place in 3 simple steps:

    Log in to your Payrexx account and click on the arrow at the top next to your email address to open the "My account" view.

    Click "Activate" for "2-factor authentication".

    Follow the instructions and enter your phone number to enable SMS authentication. Alternatively, you can set up 2-factor authentication using your mail address. However, Payrexx recommends 2-factor authentication using your cell phone via SMS.

Your account is now protected by 2-factor authentication.
Please note that we will enable two-factor authentication for all accounts at the end of Quartal 3 in 2023.
