In this release, exciting new payment methods and optimized features have been implemented in Payrexx, which we present to you in this article.
With the new release, the new payment method ‘Pay by Bank’ will be integrated into Payrexx Pay. This payment method allows customers to pay for goods or services directly from their bank account. This means they can pay you without a credit or debit card. As the amount is deducted and transferred directly from the bank account, there are no additional credit card fees for you. All further information and conditions can be found on the Payrexx website.
The Pay by Bank payment method is available for merchants from Switzerland who accept payments from Germany, Austria or Italy (cross-border transactions) in EUR.
You can find out how to activate the payment method in the following support article:
Pay by BankThe international credit cards Discover Card and Diners Club International are now available as payment methods in Payrexx Pay Plus. These new options enable merchants to receive all Discover® Global Network cards and thus significantly increase their reach. The Discover Global Network cards are particularly widespread in the USA and other international markets and are of particular interest to retailers, online shops with an international clientele and the tourism industry.
You can find out how to activate the new payment methods in the corresponding articles on Discover Card and Diners Club International.
With the new API endpoint, merchants can automatically change the status of an open transaction to ‘cancelled’. This means that a transaction that has not yet been completed or paid for can simply be marked as cancelled. This makes it easier to manage transactions where the purchase has not been finalised and ensures faster and easier adjustment of the payment status.
The QR-Pay tool now offers more flexibility and an improved user experience.
Individual purpose of use for QR codes can be set: Previously, the title of each QR code was used as the purpose of use for payments. Merchants can now configure the code so that their customers can specify a user-defined purpose when making a payment. This flexibility allows the QR code to be tailored precisely to the respective transaction or the desired purpose and offers an even more individualized design of the payment processes.
Enhancement of the user interface: In addition, the design of the entire process up to the creation of the first QR payment code will be further optimized and enhanced in the coming days ‒ stay up to date with the Payrexx newsletter.
You can find step-by-step instructions on how to create a QR payment code from Payrexx in the following support article:
QR PayTransaction exports now also include the link to the paylink if the payment was made via a paylink or the invoice was sent as a paylink. This means that merchants can access the respective link directly in the export to make it easier to track or check payments.
From now on, the order confirmation of orders in a JTL-onlineshop will only be sent after successful payment. This means that customers will only receive a confirmation for their order once the payment has actually been completed.
This change is intended to provide more security and clarity for merchants by ensuring that no orders in the Payrexx dashboard are considered completed if payment is still outstanding.
