In this release, we have once again implemented exciting new features and optimizations in Payrexx, which we present to you in this article.
QR code scan functionality with TWINT app can be activated individually for each QR code: The Payrexx QR payment codes can also be scanned directly with the TWINT app. Merchants can now specify individually for each QR code whether this function should be activated. The corresponding checkbox is displayed when a new QR payment code is created.
Notifications about incoming payments can be defined individually: A new field in the QR Pay tool allows you to individually define recipients for incoming payment notifications for each QR payment code. You can find this option when creating a new QR code or when editing an existing QR code.
QR code information in the transaction detail view: The transaction detail view now shows when a customer has paid via QR payment code. Instead of "Default API Key", the name of the corresponding QR payment code is now displayed for the payment channel. The QR payment code is also linked directly so that you can access it quickly. You can also see how many payments have been made per QR code and currency on the QR code details page.
We have expanded the language selection for retailers: You can now choose between German (DE) and German (CH) in the administration dashboard and at checkout.
JSON format for API queries: API queries can now be made in the simpler and widely used JSON format. This makes it easier for other programs to communicate with our software and exchange information.
Authentication with X-API-KEY header: Programs that want to exchange information must first authenticate themselves. They can now do this using a special API key. This key is simply sent in a message to prove authorization for the exchange. This simplifies the authentication process compared to previous methods.
The external payment provider SOFORT and the payment method SOFORT in Payrexx Pay Plus will be renamed Klarna. This change is taking place because Klarna has acquired SOFORT. For you as a merchant, apart from the name and logo, nothing will change in terms of functions and integrations.
On May 1, the bob invoice payment method was completely removed. So that you can continue to offer your buyers invoice and installment payments, Payrexx offers alternative payment methods: purchase on invoice, HeyLight and Ideal Payment.
We are working on a new JTL plugin that will offer more functions and options than the previous one so that JTL users can also use Payrexx smoothly.
A brand new feature will soon be added to the QR Pay tool. Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram to make sure you don't miss the launch.
