Operating the Terminal
The instructions on this page will help you use your POS terminal correctly.

Menu structure
To access the main menu of your terminal, turn it on and unlock the screen.
Then, swipe up on the touchscreen to display the main menu, which consists of the following four menu items:
Payment App
Use the Payment App to accept payments from your customers.
Switchio Pay
You may not need Switchio Pay in everyday use, but you should be familiar with it for potential support cases.
Settings
In this section, you can adjust various settings related to date, internet connection, accessibility, or security.
Update
You can perform software updates in this section if they are available.
To return to the main menu, press the round icon at the bottom center of the screen.
Closing apps
If your Payment app is unresponsive, it is advisable to manually close it and then restart it.
To close an app, press the square icon at the bottom of the screen. This will display all open apps.
Swipe down to find the app you want to close.
Tap the "x" icon or swipe left to close the app.
Scroll to the top to close all open apps at once by pressing "Close all."
Power saving
The power-saving mode helps significantly increase your terminal's battery life. To activate it, follow these steps:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick access menu.
Swipe down again to display all options.
Tap the battery icon.
Enable the switch next to "Power Saving Mode."
Swipe up twice to hide the quick access menu.
You can identify that power-saving mode is active by the orange markings at the top and bottom of the screen.
Software updates
To ensure the proper operation of your terminal, you should perform regular software updates. If an update is available, you will see a notification on the screen. To proceed, follow these steps:
Press "Update" in the main menu of your terminal.
Tap the orange arrow.
Select "Online update."
If an update is available, it will be displayed here and can be installed with a click.
Daily closing
Automatic daily closing
Every day at midnight, the daily closing is automatically generated. If the terminal is turned on at that time, it will be printed directly. If not, it will be printed the next time the terminal is turned on.
Manual daily closing
To create a manual daily closing, follow these steps:
Open the "Payment App" from the main menu.
Tap the menu icon ☰ in the top left corner.
Select the "Statements" option.
Choose "Print" to complete the process.
