Charging Virtual Credit Cards
With Payrexx, you have the option to charge virtual credit cards, such as those from Booking.com, Expedia, or Agoda.
Charging virtual credit cards (VCC) is done through the "Terminal" tool. To use this feature, please follow the instructions below.
1 .Setting up payment providers
First, log into your Payrexx account.
Then, in the main menu, click on "Payment providers" and select either Payrexx Pay Plus or Stripe.
The following article will inform you about which payment providers are available in which countries.
Setting up Payrexx Pay Plus
To activate Payrexx Pay Plus, click on "Configure" in the corresponding row:
After setting up Payrexx Pay Plus as your payment provider, navigate to Verify account > Business details. In the field "What industry are you in?", please select "Lodging – Hotels, Motels, Resorts, Central Reservation Services" from the category "Catering":
Setting up Stripe
To activate Stripe, navigate to Payment providers > Credit and Debit Cards, click on "Show", and then click on "Setup" next to Stripe:
After completing the setup, please contact Stripe support and request that the MCC code 7011 be added to your account.
Setting up the terminal
Click on "Terminal" in the main menu of your Payrexx account and create a new terminal.
Under Payment information > Payment service provider choose "Customized".
Then, check the box for Payrexx Pay Plus or Stripe, depending on which payment provider you have previously set up:
Make a booking
Click on "Terminal" in the main menu and then on "Open Terminal". Fill out the form and enter the details of your virtual credit card from Booking.com, Expedia, or Agoda.
