xMoney

This article addresses the setup of xMoney (formerly known as UTRUST) as an external payment provider in Payrexx.

General

The payment provider xMoney enables merchants to accept payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, xMoney tokens, and other cryptocurrencies in their online shops. xMoney is cryptocurrency-independent and offers fiat settlements.

Requirements

To use xMoney in Payrexx, the following prerequisites must be met:

  • You have a merchant account with xMoney.

  • You have an online shop linked to Payrexx.

  • You sell only products or services, not subscriptions.

Restrictions

Please note that xMoney will not function if you use an iFrame to integrate Payrexx into your website.

Setup

Configuration of xMoney

  • Log into your xMoney Merchant Dashboard.

  • Click on Integrations in the left sidebar of the page.

  • Select "Custom" and click on the "Generate Credentials" button.

  • Save the displayed API key and Webhook Secret in a secure location. You will need this information later during the setup in Payrexx.

The Webhook Secret is displayed only once. After refreshing or leaving the page, it cannot be retrieved again. In this case, you will need to repeat steps 2 to 4.

Do not share the API key and Webhook Secret with any third parties. These values could be used to place orders on your behalf.

Configuration of Payrexx

Make sure you log in to Payrexx before you start.

  • Navigate to Payment providers in the main menu of your Payrexx account.

  • Click on "Show" under "Alternative payment methods".

  • Next to xMoney, click on "Setup":

Configure the settings according to the following instructions:

  1. Mode: Select "Test" if you need more time, or "Live" if you are ready to accept live payments from your customers.

  2. Currencies: Define the currencies in which customers can make payments to you.

  3. Edit Fees: Enter the respective fees for each currency as outlined in your contract with xMoney.

  4. Productive account settings: Enter the API Key and Webhook Secret for the live mode.

  5. Sandbox account settings: Enter the API Key and Webhook Secret for the test mode.

Don't forget to save your settings by clicking the green button at the bottom of the page.

The payment provider xMoney has been succesfully set up.
