Samsung Pay

In this article, you will learn how to set up Samsung Pay within Payrexx Pay.

Please note that Payrexx Pay is only available for merchants based in 🇨🇭 Switzerland.

To get started, please log in to your Payrexx account. If you do not have an account yet, you can register now.

Samsung Pay allows users to make payments online or contactlessly at compatible point-of-sale terminals using their Samsung smartphones, smartwatches, or tablets.

Setup

Configuration of Payrexx

To use Samsung Pay within Payrexx Pay, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Payment providers in the merchant administration of Payrexx.

  2. Click on "Activate" or "Configure" for Payrexx Pay.

  3. Check the box for Samsung Pay.

  1. Click the green "Save" button at the bottom of the page to complete the configuration.

The payment method is active. Customers can now pay using Samsung Pay.

Payment Process with Samsung Pay

When a customer wants to pay using Samsung Pay in a web shop, the process is as follows:

  1. The customer selects Samsung Pay from the available payment methods:

  1. The customer enters their "Samsung Account ID", which corresponds to the email address associated with their Samsung account:

  2. After the customer clicks "Continue", they have five minutes to confirm the payment on their Samsung device.

The payment with Samsung Pay is successfully completed.
