Learn how to activate the payment method Klarna within Payrexx Pay Plus so that your customers can use it for payments.

Klarna is a Swedish payment provider that offers various payment options for online purchases. With Klarna, customers can choose to pay immediately, at a later time, or in installments.

Merchants from Switzerland and other European countries can activate Klarna within Payrexx Pay Plus with just one click.

Country Availability

Merchants from other countries not listed in the table can use Klarna by integrating the solution as an external payment provider in Payrexx.

Setup

Please make sure to log in to Payrexx before you begin. If you don't have an account yet, please register with Payrexx.

To receive payments via Klarna, you simply need to activate the payment method in your Payrexx account. Follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Payment providers in the main menu of your Payrexx account.

  • Click on "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay Plus:

  • Check the box next to "Klarna":

  • Click the green "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

The Klarna payment method is now activated. Your customers can now use it for their payments.

Paying with Klarna from the customer's perspective

  • The customer selects the Klarna payment method in the checkout process by clicking on the corresponding logo:

  • In the next window, the customer enters his e-mail address (1) and selects the country of his bank (2):

  • The customer is redirected to the Klarna website where he can complete the payment by clicking on the black button "Pay with Klarna":

For payments with Klarna (Payrexx Pay Plus), only the payment option "Pay now" is possible. The options "Purchase on invoice" and "Pay later" are not supported.

The following limits apply per transaction:

  • Minimum limit: CHF/EUR 1.00

  • Maximum limit: CHF/EUR 1,585.00
