As the year draws to a close, we have implemented several exciting features and updates, which we introduce in this article.
New features
The new features pertain to the testing of payments and payouts from Payrexx Swiss Collecting.
Test payments in Payrexx Swiss Collecting
Payments and payouts for testing purposes are now also possible in Payrexx Swiss Collecting. This allows you to test credit card transactions in the Payrexx test environment before you start accepting live payments.
Three credit cards can be used for test payments. The details and further information on testing can be found in the following article:
Test payouts are carried out according to the payout interval agreed upon in your contract with Payrexx.
To test payments and payouts, activate the test mode in Payrexx Swiss Collecting:
Updates
PostFinance has discontinued the PostFinance PSP and PostFinance Alias Gateway solutions as of the end of 2023. Therefore, these two payment providers are no longer available as of January 1, 2024.
Deactivation of PostFinance PSP and Alias Gateway
The external payment providers PostFinance PSP and PostFinance Alias Gateway will no longer be available as of 1 January 2024, as PostFinance is discontinuing these solutions.
The merchants affected are advised to switch to Payrexx's internal payment provider Swiss Collecting. Using Payrexx Swiss Collecting, it is possible to offer all popular payment methods in Switzerland such as TWINT, Reka, Mastercard, Visa and Samsung Pay in addition to PostFinance Card and PostFinance E-Finance – without any additional contracts.
Switching to Payrexx Swiss Collecting is free of charge.
Plugins
The Swiss payment method Reka-Card is now also available via the WooCommerce and Shopware plugin.
Reka-Card is only available in 🇨🇠Switzerland and for certain merchant categories.
