In this article, you will learn how to set up the Samsung Pay payment method within Payrexx Pay so that your customers can pay using it.

Samsung Pay allows users to make payments online or contactlessly at compatible point-of-sale terminals using their Samsung smartphones, smartwatches, or tablets.

Setup

Please note that you must be logged in to Payrexx before you begin. If you do not have an account yet, please register with Payrexx.

Configuration of Payrexx

To use Samsung Pay within Payrexx Pay, please follow these steps:

• Navigate to Payment providers in the merchant administration of Payrexx.

• Click on "Configure" for Payrexx Pay:

• Activate Samsung Pay by selecting the corresponding checkbox:

1. Click the green "Save" button at the bottom of the page to complete the configuration.

The payment method is active. Customers can now pay using Samsung Pay.

Payment Process with Samsung Pay

If a customer wishes to pay with Samsung Pay in an online shop, the process is as follows:

• The customer selects Samsung Pay from the available payment methods:

• The customer chooses whether to proceed with a QR code or an email address:

1. Scan QR: The customer scans the displayed QR code with their smartphone to complete the payment. The QR code is valid for 5 minutes.

2. Email: The customer enters the email address linked to their Samsung Pay account and clicks "Continue".

The customer is then redirected to Samsung Pay, where they complete the payment:

• The customer selects the payment method (e.g., Mastercard) and enters their PIN:
