The company Modmore specializes in the MODX content management system and offers various extensions to simplify working with MODX.

## Setup

In the following chapters, you will learn how to integrate the Payrexx payment solution into Modmore.

### Configuration Payrexx

Make sure you're [logged in](https://login.payrexx.com/) to your Payrexx account before you begin. If you don’t have a Payrexx account yet, please [register](https://signup.payrexx.com/).

#### Creating the API Key

* In the main menu of your merchant administration, navigate to **API & Plugins**.
* Scroll down to "Add API Integration" and click on "Add API Key":

* Assign any name to the integration, for example "Modmore".
* Click the green "Add" button:

#### Copying the API Key

* Navigate again to **API & Plugins**.
* Next to the previously created Modmore integration, click "Copy" to copy the API Key to your clipboard. You will need it in a later step:

### Configuration of Modmore

#### Installation

* Log in to your Modmore account.
* Install the Payrexx extension for Commerce.
* Ensure that the Commerce extension from Modmore is installed on your MODX setup.
* Download the Payrexx package from the official Modmore website and install it.
* Navigate to **Extras > Package Manager**, upload the downloaded package, and install it.

#### Payment method configuration

* Navigate to **Commerce > Payment Methods** and click "Create New".
* Select "Payrexx" as the payment method.
* Enter the [API Key](#copying-the-api-key) you previously copied from Payrexx into the corresponding fields for the payment method in MODX.
* Save your settings.
