Release 2025.12
New features, enhancements, and updates implemented by Payrexx with the release on December 17, 2025.
In this release, the technical requirements for a standard daily payout interval have been implemented. In addition, it is now possible to enter a discount code directly during sign-up. The following points provide an overview of all the new features.
New Features
New release time
From now on, releases will be carried out early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. (CET/GMT +1). By moving to off-peak hours, Payrexx minimizes platform downtime and the risk of payment failures during peak business hours.

From January 2026: Daily payouts as standard
Starting January 3, 2026, Payrexx will execute payouts on a daily basis as standard. For merchants, this means greater flexibility and control over their money.
The switch to daily payouts will be implemented automatically for all existing Payrexx merchants on January 3, 2026. Merchants who do not wish to switch can opt out using the opt-out form by December 18, 2025.
At the same time as the new payout interval, the processing time for payouts has also been optimized. It now takes only 3 days instead of the previous 8 days.
You can find all further information about the new payout structure and the new 3-day rule in this article:
Payouts as of 3 January 2026Input field for reference codes during sign-up
During the sign-up process, new merchants now have the option to enter their discount code directly below the subscription selection. A corresponding input field can be found under the subheading "Do you have a referral code?".

Optimizations
Intelligent country sorting
When merchants or buyers need to select a country, the list is now automatically pre-sorted according to the location of the respective person. For example, users from Switzerland will see Switzerland first. This saves unnecessary scrolling and makes it easier to set up Payrexx accounts and enter customer data.

Extended payment report
The API reference for a payment processed via tokenization will be added to the payout report in the future. The CSV file for the payout will have an additional column in which the respective API reference is specified for each payment. This will make it even easier and faster to assign transactions in the future.
New API endpoint
The API has been expanded to include a new endpoint, so that subscriptions can now also be queried directly via API access. This makes it easier to manage recurring payments and subscriptions.
You can find out how to set up such an endpoint in the following article:
API extension
Merchants who receive a separate payout for each individual transaction can now store an individual description in the API for recurring payments via tokenization. The so-called payout descriptor is defined as an endpoint, transmitted to the bank, and is thus visible on the subsequent payout. This helps to better assign individual payouts to the corresponding transactions.
The following article shows how the payout descriptor can be defined:
Webhook URLs
The character limit for a webhook URL has been significantly increased from 256 to 2048 characters. This allows merchants to store a much longer and more complex URL when creating a new webhook via their account.
