This article explains how to deactivate and delete a merchant account.
Deleting a merchant account requires two steps: first, the merchant must be unpublished, and then it can be deleted.
To unpublish a merchant account, navigate to Merchants in the main menu of your Payrexx account and search for the merchant you want to deactivate.
Hover over the corresponding row and click the following symbol to unpublish the merchant:
In the next step, the merchant account can be deleted. To do this, hover over the corresponding row and click the delete icon:
The merchant account has now been deleted.
After choosing to delete the user, you can select from different deletion options:
Temporarily delete: Removes the instance from view but retains the data.
Permanently delete: Removes the instance permanently. This action cannot be undone.
