Based on your selection, the corresponding metrics are displayed in the main window:

The metrics of 2024 compared with the metrics of 2023

1. Number of subscriptions at the beginning of the month

The first section shows the number of active subscriptions at the start of the respective period. Paid subscriptions are displayed at the top, grouped by product, followed by free subscriptions, also grouped by product.

2. New subscriptions

This section shows how many subscriptions were newly added during the period. As in point 1, subscriptions are grouped by product.

3. Cancellations

This section covers subscriptions that were canceled during a specific period and is divided as follows:

  • Refunds: Number of paid subscriptions refunded to the merchant during the month

  • Cancellations (chargeable): Paid subscriptions canceled during the respective month.

  • Cancellations (free): Free subscriptions canceled during the respective month.

  • Termination Rate: Calculated as the number of cancellations in month X divided by the number of subscriptions at the beginning of month X. For example, if there were 100 subscriptions at the start of the month and 5 were canceled by month-end, the cancellation rate is 5%.

4. Renewals

This section shows the number of subscriptions renewed during the period, grouped as described in points 1 and 2.

5. Upgrades

This section shows the number of subscriptions upgraded during a specific period. An upgrade occurs when a merchant moves from their current plan to a more expensive plan.

6. Downgrades

This section shows the number of subscriptions downgraded during a specific period. A downgrade occurs when a merchant moves from their current plan to a cheaper or free plan.

7. Active customers

  1. This section displays the number of customers who received at least one payment during the period and were therefore considered active.
