* **Date:** The date and time of the transaction:
  * For transactions within the last 24 hours, the display shows "XY hours/minutes ago" or "Yesterday".&#x20;
  * For older transactions, the specific date and time are shown.

## Finding Payments

To find a specific transaction, we recommend using the free-text search field:

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/BBw1b2FyOYk0PJ4PVAg5" alt=""><figcaption><p>Search field for locating specific transactions</p></figcaption></figure></div>

You can search using the following information:

* Transaction ID (UUID)
* Customer's first or last name
* Customer's city/place of residence
* Customer's email address

## Filtering Payments

The transactions displayed in the list can be narrowed down using the <img src="/files/RiOxr1aKMNAZqtQnd0d2" alt="" data-size="line"> field. You can filter by the following criteria:

<table><thead><tr><th width="248.51849365234375">Filter</th><th>Description and options</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Status</td><td><a href="/pages/2Wwrfd29tECxcla4NCT7">Payment status</a> (open, confirmed, cancelled, refund, disputed, declined, technical error, partially refunden, unknown, uncaptured, expired)</td></tr><tr><td>Currency</td><td>Currency (e.g., CHF, EUR, USD)</td></tr><tr><td>Type</td><td>E-Commerce, <a href="/pages/mZ5mecnkv8Wq5qyg18YI">POS Terminal,</a> <a href="/pages/8nhvzfxSN6Znne22uRSW">Tap to Pay</a></td></tr><tr><td>Payment method</td><td>Payment method (e.g., <a href="/pages/LdCqbL0vrX4CRIRpSXYN">Visa</a>, <a href="/pages/48Bh9N8bXYOSanBPFV7F">TWINT</a>, <a href="/pages/-M_fCRvhjSe_xp0bVopO">PayPal</a>, <a href="/pages/RippLLnzVKQ18a5NnxTV">Google Pay</a>)</td></tr><tr><td>Payment service provider</td><td><a href="/pages/-MZCjE6aTOpm4scgIEy8">Payrexx Pay</a>, <a href="/pages/-MZCjE6aTOpm4scgIEy8">Payrexx Pay Plus</a> and <a href="/pages/-MZCjGzoiNiVqlf8bpHe">external payment providers</a></td></tr><tr><td>Date from</td><td>Show payments from this date</td></tr><tr><td>Date to</td><td>Show payments up to this date</td></tr><tr><td>Pages *</td><td>Select a specific <a href="/pages/-MZCk2Yb-SBlLK557d6C">Pages</a> shop</td></tr><tr><td>QR Code *</td><td>Select a specific <a href="/pages/-M_5ndtYipnl2a6asRHl">QR code</a></td></tr><tr><td>Donation *</td><td>Select a specific <a href="/pages/-MZCkGC9VaZS6YR9TF-D">donation</a> campaign</td></tr><tr><td>Coupon Code</td><td>Select a specific <a href="/pages/-MZwPf4xxQllQz7m6BHw">discount code</a></td></tr><tr><td>Mode</td><td>Live or <a href="/pages/-MdNTXs1Cj_H0MnJqHLN">test payments</a></td></tr></tbody></table>

\*) These filters are only visible if the transaction list contains payments from the corresponding [e-commerce tools](/merchant/english/account/tools.md) ([Pages](/merchant/english/account/tools/pages.md), [QR Pay](/merchant/english/account/tools/qr-pay.md), [Donation](/merchant/english/account/tools/donation.md)).

## Deleting Payments

Deleting payments is not possible in Payrexx. This applies regardless of whether the transactions are successful, failed, or cancelled. There are two primary reasons for this:

**Data consistency**

When a transaction is initiated, the payment information flows through a complex network of acquiring banks, credit card institutions, and payment providers, where it is processed. If a transaction were to be deleted in Payrexx, it would lead to reconciliation errors, and the data would no longer match. However, seamless consistency is essential for secure and traceable payment processing.

**Legal retention period**

As a financial service provider, Payrexx is subject to strict regulatory requirements. Among other compliance obligations, all transaction data must be stored securely for a minimum of 10 years.

## Payment Status

Each transaction has a status that indicates whether the payment was successful or, if not, why it could not be processed. For a complete overview of all payment statuses, refer to the following article:

## Test Payments

If it is a test payment, it is marked with the label <img src="/files/qcYPmwXQRqfuuliIa7nA" alt="" data-size="line"> located to the left of the description. In the screenshot above, all transactions except of the first one are test payments. For more information on testing payments, please refer to this article:

* **E-Commerce**: Payments received through online channels
* **Tap to Pay**: Payments received via [Tap to Pay](/merchant/english/taptopay/tap-to-pay-overview.md)
* **POS Terminal**: Payments received through [POS terminals](/merchant/english/pos/pos-terminals-overview.md)
